About PrimePoints

What are PrimePoints?

PrimePoints is a currency that you can earn by playing clan wars for Prime or Excel. You can freely send PrimePoints to each other without a tax.

How can I earn PrimePoints?

You can earn PrimePoints by playing Clan War games for Prime or Excel. For each CW game, you earn 8 PrimePoints. For each CW win (including free wins), you earn 1 PrimePoint. (The formula used to be 10*games + wins - 35. This allowed you to get negative PrimePoints.)

You can win PrimePoints by doing well in the monthly ModTourneys. Another way to get PrimePoints by convincing someone to send some of their PrimePoints to you. And sometimes there are other tournaments where you can win PrimePoints.

Can I have PrimePoints when I am not in Prime?

Yes.

What can I do with PrimePoints?

The players with the most PrimePoints get invited to the PrimePointsPrizeTournament (PPPT). Participation in the PPPT costs PrimePoints. The winner of the PPPT gets a coin prize. See below for more information about the PPPT.

Other than that, you can send PrimePoints to other players, maybe in exchange for things you like. You can send PrimePoints to someone using commands, which is explained here.

Who controls the PrimePoints?

The PrimePoints are controlled by XY#1. He is the PrimePoints dictator and decides all the rules and handles disputes. Ask him if you have any questions. You can see a history of transactions and standings here.

What is the exchange rate between PrimePoints and coins?

There is no fixed exchange rate between PrimePoints and coins. Try asking other players how much they would be willing to pay for your PrimePoints or coins to find out. Note that XY#1 will be reluctant to make these trades, because he controls the whole system.

How does the PrimePointsPrizeTournament work?

The PrimePointsPrizeTournament (PPPT) is a tournament where the players with the most PrimePoints get invited. The format of the PPPT gets decided by the funder. You can volunteer to fund a PPPT. The minimum coin prize is 99 coins for the winner. A PPPT can have 7 to 16 participants. It will be played using the tournament system behind this website. If someone declines the PPPT, a substitute will be invited.

Participation in the PPPT costs half of the PrimePoints of the participant with the least PrimePoints. To incentivize participation in the PPPT and to prevent hoarding of your PrimePoints, declining a PPPT costs you 20 percent of your PrimePoints.

About the subsidy program

If you offer PrimePoints as a prize for a Tournament (or similar), you can get a subsidy, which will double the prize pool. Such a competition should be announced on the group forum. The subsidy can be denied on a case-by-case basis (for example for a lotto tournament would not be eligible for a subsidy, or if you play a single 1v1 game with someone in chat). Ask XY#1 whether your competition is eligible for a subsidy.

This website does not update very often. Newly scheduled games appear usually within 15 minutes. But other changes can take much longer.
