PrimeLevels

What are PrimeLevels?

PrimeLevels are a series of multi-day 1v1 tournaments. If you do well in a tournament, you get tickets to higher-level tournaments.

PrimeLevels are open to all, not just players from the Prime clan.

Level 1 tournaments will use the official War.app tournament system. Levels 2 and higher will use the tournament system behind wz-xy.netlify.app.

Hopefully you end up in a level that corresponds to your skills :).

How can I participate?

To participate in PrimeLevels, join a Level 1 tournament, or organize one yourself. If you win a game in a Level 1 Tournament, you already get a ticket to a Level 2 Tournament. For Level 2 and higher you will get automatically invited.

If you have PrimePoints, you can also buy a Level 2 Ticket for 10 PrimePoints. Another player can also gift you a Level 2 Ticket, but the gifting player needs to have at least 5 tickets in total.

If you have questions

I recommend joining the group.

Web pages that are related to PrimeLevels:

Technical details

Note that some of these details might change in the future.

Tickets

You can collect tickets for level 2 and higher tournaments. You can own more than 1 ticket per level. Depending on your rank, you can get awarded new tickets.

There are pages for the current tickets per player and level and a log of all ticket changes.

Tickets will be awarded when a tournament ends.

Random Gifts

Every 5 days, a Level 2 Ticket will be awarded to a randomly selected player (among all players in the database who do not already own a Level 2 Ticket).

Declines

If you decline or accept a tournament, you will not be invited to lower level tournaments that season.

If you decline a tournament, at first you will not lose a ticket because of that. But if you decline three times in a row on a specific level, you will lose a ticket. Also, if you have 4 or more tickets for that level, you will lose a ticket.

Seasons

Level 2 and higher are organized in seeasons. Level 1 tournaments can happen anytime and are not bound to a season. A new season can start even when the tournaments of the old season are still ongoing. The time between seasons will be at least 25 days, but can be more.

Each season, the system will try to start higher-level tournaments first. It will wait until the invite phase is over before starting lower levels. Some levels will be skipped, if there are not enough players for that level.

Level 1 Tournament

These tournaments use the official War.app tournament system. Anyone can register a Level 1 Tournament. Upon completion, a Level 2 Tickets will be rewarded to every player who won at least 1 game, and 2 Level 2 Ticets if they won 3 or more games. If the tournament had 50 or more total games, the winner will get one Ticket to Level 3 and one to Level 2.

Level 2 Tournament

Level 2 will be restricted to the tournament modes survival1, survival2, fastsurvival2 (plus multiko8, multiko16 if size is 8, pluse multiko16, multiko32 if size is 16). The top 40% are supposed to get a ticket to the next level.

Level 3 Tournament

Level 3 can additionally use the tournament modes survival3, fastsurvival3, streak2. The top 31% are supposed to get a ticket to the next level.

Higher Levels

No restrictions on the tournament mode. The top 25% are supposed to get a ticket to the next level.

Template selection

Templates can be submitted by users. See the Pool of templates for details.

Comparison to Promotion/Relegation Leagues

You could see this multi-level system as a more flexible promotion/relegation league system. I think a big advantage is that players can decide to skip some tournaments, without being demoted to a lower league.
